ASTAKAM


Tears come streaming on my cheeks.
Its a well traveled road.
And they know their way through.
No question of getting lost.
They are thus bold and confident too.
A reason is all they need to wear their dusty travel boots, 

Travel cloak and a square hat.
And off they go on their oft traveled path.

A thought of my Guruji.
The reassuring presence of our Masters.
My loving mothers all encompassing pat.
The morning rays and a look at the moon.

Reasons trivial they all seem.
Struck by wanderlust are my tears.
Reasons enough for them to seek.
So the dusty travel boots are worn.
The travel cloak and square hat in place.
And the Tears come streaming on my cheeks.
